Due to the exponential growth of the company, we are immediately looking for an Assistant Controller for 24-32 hours a week to support and replace our Financial Controller in his absence. You will, in consultation, mainly work at our new office in Groningen. Are you someone who knows how to get things done? Do you already have experience in the field of Financial Controller? What do you do as an Assistant (Financial) Controller at GKB?

Together with colleagues and under the leadership of the Supply Chain Manager, you contribute to the further professionalization of our Supply Chain. We are looking for someone who can take the next steps in our Order from Supplier, Purchase to Pay, Transport Management processes.

Our logistics is focused on sea and truck transport. Key tasks of the positioninclude:

- Assistance in placing orders as instructed.

- Enter orders and other data into the purchasing system.

- Assisting in arranging designs and artworks with suppliers.

- Communicate with suppliers and freight forwarders as necessary (e.g. arranging
and tracking samples, assisting with payments to suppliers, ensuring timely
delivery of goods, etc.).

- Maintain an up-to-date purchasing database, including product catalogs and product
information in the ERP system.

- Keep all supplier-related information in good order and up to date.

- Inventory maintenance including OTW inventory uploading and inventory receipt in ERP

- Generate daily reports on stock levels.

- Support Supply Chain manager with other aspects if necessary.

To qualify for this great vacancy, we ask:

- Preferably in possession of an HBO diploma, for example in Business Economics or Accountancy.

- Relevant work experience in a financial department.

- Proactive work attitude, you work carefully and accurately.

- Strong analytical skills and numerical insight.

- Good accounting knowledge.

- Well versed in taxes.

- Excellent command of Excel/Word.

- Good command of the Dutch and English language.

- Preferably experience with Snelstart.
